Happy Thanksgiving!

I love this time of the year.  Not for the weather, because I am a warm, bright sunshiney weather fan, make no doubt about it!  I love this time of the year because it forces us to take a break and to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for.

Life is very busy and being a parent seems to of pressed the fast forward button on my days and life in general.  Days, then weeks and then months just seem to fly by.  We get stuck in ruts, routine and looking back it starts to blur at times.  I want to take a moment to capture all that I am thankful for because I truly feel that I am in the best years of my life, as of yet!

I am thankful for my daugther.  I have never known love like this.  It's the hardest yet most rewarding role I have ever had and feel truly blessed to be her mother.

I am thankful for my husband.  The past 10 years, since I met him, have been amazing, fun, challenging, exciting, fulfilling, adventurous and most of all rewarding.  The hard work put into our relationship & marriage always pays off and I am blessed to go through life with my best friend & my partner.  We make a great team!  I am also thankful that he works so very hard for us.  It allows me to stay at home with our daughter and for that I am beyond thankful for!

I am thankful for our extended families.  They are a great source of love, support, encouragement, fun visits and now, babysitting ;-)!

I am thankful for our friends.  We all know friendships change over time.  Some old friendships we lose, some new friendships we make and some friendships stand the test of time.  All of these relationships I am thankful for.  They are a place to relax, to visit, to laugh, to cry, to vent, to learn and to share.  They are also now fun times for playdates for our children to share and to make friendships of their own!

I want to thank all of my readers too.  I am the oldest of four children and truly love to give advice!  My website has given me an outlet for advice.  At the same time I hope that it has helped you find savings and that you have enjoyed what I have had to share.  I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and safe holiday travels!
